Bizarre Times
I immerse myself in a world where reality and imagination blur in a disturbing way. It's an invitation to a path of introspection and reinterpretation of the past, of the simply ordinary. A reserved knowledge is unlocked, exclusive to those who are open to reflection and in search of truth. Mystery is deconstructed through the image. Presence in the absences and nostalgia of a world preserved in memory and shaped into a new reality that permeates us all.

These artworks were created during quarantine (2020). They emerged from all the strangeness experienced at that time: the isolation, the distance, the loneliness, the exhaustion, and the different ways of beginning to live differently, where we felt trapped with no way out, even though the photos were taken outdoors. I chose as models for this series the people I live with and share 24 hours a day.

Where the ordinary became strange.
Where morning turned into night and night into morning.

This series ultimately became: BIZARRE TIMES.
